Physiotherapy
Physiotherapist can assess, diagnose, and treat your injury through a combination of method. Our physiotherapists use a combination of manual therapy, manipulation, and/or exercise prescription. Education plays an important role in physiotherapy. The goal of physiotherapy is to return you to your optimal function and strength, while educating you about your injury. This allows you to independently maintain a healthy body without the constant supervision of a therapist.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic takes a look at what is not moving properly in the body, commonly the joints in the spine. The spine, being our core structural support, has nerves that run near it, as well as many muscles, tendons and ligaments attached to or near it. Therefore, chiropractic promotes joint, soft tissue and nerve health by restoring our central mobility and prevents impingement and inflammation. The lack of mobility oftentimes leads to symptoms such as pain, numbness, tingling, burning, weakness, and swelling.

Acupuncture
Acupuncturists are skilled healthcare professionals who apply the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide acupuncture treatments. In addition to acupuncture, they may also incorporate other therapeutic techniques such as Tuina, guasha, cupping, moxa and Ayurvedic treatments to address pain, illness. Acupuncture can improve a person’s overall health by stimulating the body’s healing processes. It can treat a variety of conditions such as pain, digestive issues, anxiety, insomnia, infertility, hormonal imbalance and so on.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy focuses on facilitating the health of joints and muscles through non-invasive manual therapy, helping to strengthen the framework of the body, and acts as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medicine.
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy which uses anatomy and physiology as its foundations. Osteopathic manual practitioners (OMPs) encourage the innate homeostatic mechanisms by removing any structural obstructions that will interfere with proper, healthy functioning of the body. Practitioners remove structural obstructions by working with the relationship between muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves, veins, arteries, and joints. OMPs consider that all parts of the body work together to maintain health. Osteopathy uses rhythm and ease when approaching the body to appeal to the calming parasympathetic nervous system and to ensure that treatment is the least imposing as possible.

Athletic Therapy
Athletic therapists adhere to the Sports Medicine Model of care. They specialize in on field injury response as well as clinical injury rehabilitation. They treat a wide range of patients, from children with sprains to seniors recovering from hip replacement surgery, using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription and even bracing and taping. The treatment varies but the objective doesn’t: an Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients return to their usual activities, whether that means playing competitive sports or walking up and down the stairs..
During an Athletic Therapy assessment, you will go through a thorough history of the present injury, some objective measures, testing and will be given a home exercise program tailored to your injury. Our Athletic Therapist will then recommend a plan of care for follow up appointments.
